Air curtains mounting options
The principle of installation of air curtains
Air curtains are divided into suspended horizontal, vertical and built-in air curtains.
- Suspended horizontal air curtains are attached to a solid ceiling construction by means of threaded rods or by using brackets and fasteners to the wall directly above the doorway. The curtain should be closest to the doorway for maximum performance, because obstructions to air flow (whether door closers or ledges) reduce the efficiency of its operation.
- Vertical air curtains are attached directly to the floor or to the wall from one or both sides of the doorway.
- Built-in air curtains consist of two parts: air curtain unit and special decorative grille. The main air curtain module is hidden behind the suspended ceiling, and only the decorative grill is visible from the outside, through which the intake and air supply is carried out.
