POLIS air door curtain represents the entry level of comfort air curtains by Luftstrom. The air curtain is a compact device suitable for majority of smaller spaces such as shop units in shopping centres, boutiques, restaurants, banks, or hotel entrances.
The POLIS air curtain is a device, which produces a natural air barrier against penetration of cold air into heat environment; in summer, it operates as a protection against penetration of hot summer air to the spaces being air conditioned. The use of the air curtain can save high cooling costs in the air-conditioned spaces.
As the name suggests, POLIS is characterized in simple and pleasant design with built-in control system that allows the user to choose a controller type. BASE IR remote controller ow BASE plug-in cable wall-mounted controller may be selected.
The BASE plug-in cable controller may be used to control the air curtain from a superior system through Modbus communication protocol.
The POLIS air curtain is designed for horizontal placement over door space using sub-ceiling or wall-mounting brackets.
The models available have no heating, with hot water, or electric heating. Included in each model is an adjustable slat for optimum air flow setting. A wide range of accessories is available for the unit, for example, thermostatic valve, exhaust or room thermostat, or a door contact.
The POLIS model is available in lengths of 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 mm, and recommended for maximum installation height of 2.2 m. The air curtain colour design is RAL 9010 with side bars in RAL 9007
